Well this weekend was the one people have been waiting for, the royal wedding. I personally wasn't arsed until my mates invited me to a 1940's themed street party, so we dressed ourselves up and hit the Northern Quarter in Manchester.
It was actually a really interesting day, the whole street looked like it was from the 1940s it would of looked just like it if people in topshop clothes didn't show up. We drank on picnic benches, watched a fashion show, learnt how to swing dance, went to a street rave and just got nicely drunk. A good way to bring in the future monarchy.
Par of my day was talking to a mural painter. Her name was Twong i think, i mis took her as the artist Guy Mc kinley cause her drawings looked like his but turns out she was just a big fan of his. It was good talking to an actual street artist. She gave me some really good pointers. If your ever round the Northen Quarter check out her mural but till then i got some pictures.
Donno if it was being inspired by this amazing piece or just seer boredom on a lovely day. I decided to wipe out my spray paint and have at it on a random piece of wood. Seeing as i just went at it i was quite happy with it and i'm so tempted to leave it somewhere around the street, never tried that as a form of street art.

Happy Respawn day Jesus!
Well today is the day our lord jesus christ re-spawned to give fighting sins another go (sussposely).
As a child i would be dragged to church by my mother, whilst the Easter bunny aka my dad placed eggs around the house for me and my sister to find.
These days however i spent most of the day in bed munching on a lindt chocolate bunny, feeling very bad about it, not because of the calories and all that crap but the fact they just make them look so dam cute! I mean seriously you have to look them in the eye whilst you tear off their skin and rip off their ear.
However i did give my own little present, whilst i'm home to the people of Sale. A glimpse of the Easter Bunny and his little eggs and it was not an easy sticker to put up with the amount of drunks walking past, enjoying there three day weekend.

Also i would like to show off a piece of artwork i discovered today by one of my favourite illustrators who goes by the name of Recycled Wax. Heres the piece pictured below :
I just saw this and my eyes just popped open. I am a big fan of animal drawings but this one is just amazing in my eyes, the use of colours, symmetry and running theme of a woodland all blend so well together. Its defiantly going to influence a tattoo i'm designing for myself.
I strongly recommend you check more of his work out at:
